SHOUT it out!

Spark your curiosity?
Tomorrow night at 6:00 is our annual SHOUT Choir Christmas Musical..."Miracle on Main Street"
Come see what it's all about!

Here's a pic that might portray it a little better. However, I couldn't resist posting our resident Sonny & Cher lookalikes. Uncanny, isn't it!?

WAD

Today, I started a new project. Every year, we always do a "Night of Worship" CD, but this year I thought it would be good to do a video as well. So, today I started compiling all of the video footage from this year's event. I'll let you know when it's finished. More than likely, rather than making DVDs, I'll just put it either on the blog or the website as a download. I'll start working on editing the CD tomorrow.

Now to WAD. What's WAD you ask? World Aids Day. It was last Friday, so I'm a little behind the eight ball. Better late than never, right? Last week I had the privilege of viewing a DVD interview between Willow Creek Community Church's pastor Bill Hybels & U2's front man Bono. I gotta tell ya, it's really refreshing & completely inspiring to witness a "rock star" (Bono's own words) speak & act with intelligence & heart-felt conviction. The guy has done his research & for all intents & purposes is putting his money & fame where his mouth is.

I don't know if you've heard about the "Red" campaign? Campaign may not be the right word, but essentially it is an initiative to raise global awareness & funds to help eradicate the Aids pandemic. You may have seen the products in your local Wal-mart, Target, etc... One such example is the "Red" ipod. A percentage of each purchase goes towards helping the HIV/AIDS victims in Africa. Click on the link below to be schooled.

I know you've heard the Aids cry from me before. At the moment, I don't hear God saying...go to Africa, or...adopt a child with Aids. However, I believe that we can & should all do something. There's really no excuse for being passive on this issue.

Remember...

"Love thy neighbor"!
